​KAN-WIN's 31st anniversary virtual gala was a huge success thanks to all our incredible supporters! Here is a clip of the gala featuring a keynote speech from Christine Lee and two videos produced by her, including stories from our survivors and messages of hope from our community members. About the Emcee
​

Mia Park is a multidimensional, Chicago-based artist powered by meaningful connections. She is an actress, yoga teacher, producer, volunteer, and interviewer who lifts others as she lifts herself. She has volunteered for KANWIN for over twenty years as a MC, yoga teacher, and more. She also trained to become a domestic violence advocate through KANWIN. Mia is honored to support KANWIN's dedication towards ending gender based violence. ​

About the Keynote Speaker
​

Christine Lee is an Emmy-nominated storyteller with 10+ years of professional work experience as a TV journalist. She is the President and CEO of Kimbop TV LLC. Christine enjoyed a long career with NBC as a local news reporter in Dallas, Flagstaff and Phoenix. Her most memorable assignments include the Vancouver Winter Olympics and an exclusive series on North Korean refugees living in the U.S. The trilingual journalist is fluent in Korean and conversational in Spanish. 

As a Domestic Violence Survivor, Christine is passionate about empowering women to live a happier and safer life. She creates motivating videos on her YouTube channel often in partnership with DKNY, Ten Thousand Villages and other like-minded businesses and organizations. She currently lives in Southern California and can also be seen on various TV programs from her hometown TV station called Torrance CitiCABLE. You can connect with her latest updates on Instagram, Facebook and Patreon.
